FAQ

Where are you located?: I am based in Indian Trail, NC, and serve the Charlotte area and surrounding locations within a 50-mile radius. I am also available to travel for sessions outside this area for an additional fee.
How soon can I book a session?: Sessions are available based on my schedule and can be booked up to a year in advance or as close as two weeks prior. While I strive to accommodate last-minute requests, I cannot guarantee availability for sessions booked within two weeks. I recommend reaching out as early as possible to secure your preferred date, as my calendar fills up quickly.
What payment options do you accept?: Invoices for photography sessions are sent digitally and can be conveniently paid via debit card, credit card, or ACH transfer. To secure your session, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking.

The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 48 hours before your scheduled session date to avoid cancellation.
How long is the typical wait?: Photo proofs are delivered within 48-72 hours. Once selections are made, the final digital gallery will be available within 1-2 weeks. For larger galleries, such as my Personal Branding Photography Sessions, the turnaround time is typically 2-3 weeks.

When ordering prints, your images will be sent directly to the print shop. Within the gallery store, you will be provided with an estimated lead time based on the items selected.
Do you have a cancellation policy?: Yes!

At Ruchelle Renee Photography, I understand that unexpected things can come up. If you need to cancel your session at least two or more days before the scheduled date, your retainer fee remains non-refundable. However, I’m happy to work with you to reschedule your session for a future date, as long as it takes place before the end of the calendar year.

Please be aware that rescheduling during peak seasons, such as fall or the holidays, may be more challenging due to limited availability. If any part of your retainer was used to purchase non-reusable items or session-specific materials, an additional fee may apply to replace them for the rescheduled session.

CANCELLATION WITHIN 48 HOURS OF SESSION

Preparation for your session begins well in advance. Within 48 hours of your scheduled session, I finalize all details, including setting up props, testing equipment, and purchasing perishable items. Some materials, such as balloons, helium, Hi-Float, cakes, and foods, cannot be reused for a later date.

For this reason, if you need to cancel your session within 48 hours of your time slot, a rescheduling fee will be required. This fee covers the cost of one-time-use items that were prepped specifically for your original session.
